*This model has a tendency to run slightly small. For a more comfortable fit, we suggest choosing the size larger than that of the kote you generally use.
‘Minami’ and ‘Hokuto’ are the two most representative products of our brand. ‘Minami’ is a jissengata Kote model. While the main body is still made of 6000# cotton and orizashi materials, the grip experience has been optimized through adjustments to the design details. It shortens the width of the purlicue to provide the experience similar to that of holding a shinai by bare hand, and shortens the futon to improve flexibility. As tornado stitch is used on Kote futon, ‘Minami’ is more protective than the common jissengata Kote models. Standard ‘Minami’ model uses clarino as the palm and reinforcement material, which can be upgraded to deerskin.
