Arato - 5mm Orizashi All-purpose Bogu Set
A standard Bogu model for all purposes. 'Arato' follows the mainstream design of Orizashi Bogu and uses synthetic materials for reinforcement. Men, Kote, Do, Tare are included.
Introduction
In the common concept, basic Bogu models usually experience a certain degree of cost reduction in details, such as simplifying the decorative threads on tare. But ‘Arato’, as its name implies (sharpen), strives to achieve the quality that a standard Bogu model should have in details, thereby supporting Kendo beginners to persevere in boring and long-term practices.
In addition to the Men and Tare of the mainstream style, ‘Arato’ model includes ‘Ryouken’ as its Kote. In the past, it was once popular to equip beginners with Kote reinforced by thick synthetic leather, which aimed to protect their arm and wrist. Nowadays, people are gradually realizing that blindly pursuing protection is not conducive for beginners to get used to correct Kendo motions. Therefore, most of our Bogu sets aim to combine flexibility and durability to optimize the wearing experience.
